Hi folks !
Tim Holmes here, founder of Living 4 Him. A Friend of mine came up to me awhile back and asked me to write a song for her dad Orville McGraw who was a Carpenter by trade all his life, he has been retired for some time and now is battling altzheimers. I have known Orville all my life and like his father he is a man of integrity, you could not chance to meet any better human being and also a brother in Christ. I considered the request to write a song, so the thought came to me this man was a Carpenter by trade as was Jesus and his father Joseph, so I prayed to God to inspire me and help me come up with a song that not only told of this good earthly man, but also lifted up the name of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, the earthly Jesus was a Carpenter by trade who worked with his hands, ah but with these hands he not only worked with wood and nails, but he could raise the dead and make the blind to see and command the wind and the elements, yes this man Jesus was the son of God who came down from Heaven to save a sin sick world. There is no other name by which we can be saved, only Jesus and that is through the blood he shed at Calvary for remission of sin, how great it is that God loved us enough to send his only son to pay for our sins, I want to praise him for all eternity.
