I was born and raised in Charleston, WV, in the country near Sissonville, WV. I was inspired to sing by my mother, Loni Burford who would play the guitar and sing to us kids. I come from a large family, I have twelve brothers and sisters. My mother went to be with the Lord in 2006, earths loss was heavens gain. I am married to Mike Holmes and have two great children and several grandchildren. Mike and I have sang together for many years as a duet and more recently as a trio in a group called The Starlight Singers, I am happy to now be a member of Living 4 Hymn, I love each and every one of the members of this group, they are my extended family.
